Adam, We love and miss you. It's hard to wrap our minds around God's ways and His timing, especially in a place like this. You've left a hole in our brigade that no one can fill. I'm thankful to have known you. I'm thankful for the ways you encouraged and inspired me and so many others, from Beast barracks and up to a second deployment in Iraq. I'm thankful for how you looked out for me and my platoon last deployment on that bad day in Hawija. I'm thankful for how you led and took care of your guys. I'm thankful for each opportunity I had to talk to you. Thanks, God, for Adam and putting him in so many lives. Adam, I look forward to seeing you again. For I know whom we have believed in, and I'm persuaded He'll keep us until that day. Well done. Be thou at peace. In Christ, Patrick |
