| I knew Dan at West Point. He was my Platoon Leader as a Plebe and my Sandhurst Squad Leader in 2003. He had a strong work ethic and always took the time to help others. I can not count the number of times he helped one of my classmates with a paper or encouraged me to work harder at Sandhurst practice. As a Plebe, he was someone I looked up to and a role model. Even then, I could tell he loved the Army and knew he would be a great Company Commander. I will never forget his love for the Army, perseverance, and desire to help others succeed. He will never be forgotten. |
