| My fondest memory of EJ was in June 1951in 6th Company of Beast Barracks when we all were being abused by the firsties of Class of '51. EJ's classic responses to their angry questions that would leave them utterly speechless, were the greatest relief and amusement to all of us. That was the time of the infamous "quibbling" scandal that resulted in the dismissal of over 50 upperclassmen. Thank you EJ for your zest for life and your comradeship. |
