John, it was a privilege serving with you. Your duty is done. Rest in peace warrior... The Edds Family, I met your son and husband on 2 July 2001. We were squad mates through Beast and friends for 6 years. I had not spoken to John since I last saw him at Ft. Benning more than a year ago. I didn’t even know he was stationed at my FOB until tonight. I will tell you he had a slick sense of humor and an indomitable sense of duty. He never complained and was as honest as they come. I pray in time that Almighty God ease your suffering and that you live with the pride and memory of your son and husband. 1LT Joe Meyer Proverbs 3 : 5-6 |
