Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Adrian Freeman on August 22, 2007:

John:
You are where I want to be. You are where all Christians want to be based on salvation through the blood of Jesus and his saving grace.

But, we are stuck here for now. Before long we will join you in that wonderful place being prepared for those who are His. I have to tell you, we mourn your passing from our lives. In our minds, it wasn't time. We cry often as we think of not seeing you here. We cry for Laura and the pain and loss she must bear. But one thing for sure, we will do our very best to take care of her as you would want. We will take care of her.

I am so sad for your mom and dad. I can tell by you and your brothers lives that your parents are fine people. They raised you well. No parent wants to see their child go before them. It is one of those things that doesn't seem bearable. However, they will bear the unbearable for they have to complete their mission here Christ has called them to.

You have completed your mission. I believe I can say with one accord by all who know you, "Well done good and faithful servant of Jesus Christ. You have won. Mission complete."

See you on the other side.
