John, Perhaps it is because I am here in Nashville away from the ones who loved you so much, but your death affected me in way I did not imagine. I did not know you that well but yet I feel that you were a part of my life. The church in Auburn probably did not know you and Laura that well but I know you were a part of it. My heart hurts deeply for Laura and your family. You were so loved and cared for. I cried when I saw your brothers on the TV report via the web. I don't really know what else to say other than thank you for sacrificing your life for my freedom. I guess you were my token soldier. You were the soldier who represented thousands of others to me. Enjoy Heaven. David |
