Seventeen years ago I was deployed to Iraq as the 2-69 Scout Platoon Leader, just as Jonathan was. I read of Jonathan's passing in the Assembly magazine and though I never knew him, I felt both a personal connection and a loss because he held the exact same job I did all those years earlier. I read all these wonderful eulogies and know for certain what a wonderful son you folks raised. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Paul Chevlin USMA '88 |
