Be Thou At Peace

Matt and I had several connections. The first of course was friends at West Point. I was looking back through my pictures from the last few years, and Matt & I graduated Ranger School together in the same platoon back in early 06. It was a great day for all of us. Then a year later when my unit redeployed from Iraq, the new LT who took my infantry platoon was Matt's cousin, Sean. A family of great leaders. I pray that Matt is in a better place and we will meet again on another field and another day. Matt was a smart man and great leader.
