Our words are not much consolation but we can share our thoughts and help share the pain and loss that Tom's family and friends are feeling. Tom, you are a fine man and a good friend to my son and daughter, Ross and Meg. You inspire us with the grit, hard work and determination you gave to go to WP and I am sure gave all that and more in your daily life. You are my hero, and I thank you for the many sacrifices you made daily and this final gift to make this world a better place. Every generation has a group of ordinary citizens who give of themselves to make life better for the rest of us. Tom is an example of this selfless soul who knows he must do what needs to be done for the betterment of the rest of us. Tom is what makes our country great and I and society owe him for that.
