Be Thou At Peace

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Martin and LT Noyes: It is never easy to lose a child and a loved one. As a father and a retired soldier the loss of such a wonderful young officer makes no sense. However, just looking at his picture leads me to believe that he loved being a soldier and serving his country and his fellow man. As we are reminded in the Alma Mater, it can certainly be said of Thomas "Well Done" and we know that he is now "At Peace". I hope you find some comfort in knowing that our thoughts and prayers are with Thomas, you, and your family. We honor his service and sacrifice as well as yours. His memory will live on in the lives he touched - family, soldiers, friends, classmates, and the oppressed for whom he died fighting. God bless Thomas and you and ever keep you in His care. J.W.
