| My team and I were assigned to support 1-40 CAV, 1 OCT 06 to 17 Apr 07. Days before leaving Iraq I conducted my last mission out of the wire with Thomas, during which we came under sniper fire. He impressed me as being intelligent, dependable, courageous, and professional. I was never in doubt of support when conducting missions with Thomas. I am sad he has been lost. He was one of the "QUIET HEROS", I came to know. |
