| I only talked to Tom once, it was on my R-Day in 2004. I went to high school with his sister Becky, and I guess she convinced Tom to come find me when I showed up at West Point. I remember Tom (a Firstie) coming into my room after taps and shaking me awake. I was scared out of my mind (from the rigors of R-Day, as well as a Firstie waking me up in the middle of the night), but Tom had nothing but kind words for me, and he said that I could come find him if I needed any help during Plebe year. I didn't know Tom well, but I know that he was a good man, and I'm sorry that he is gone. Be thou at peace Tom. |
