I remember coming back from leave to rumors that John Todd had died in an accident. I knew John well as we were both in H4 as plebes. There was another John Todd in the corp at the time, and he happened to be in I2 with me (he was class of 85). I remember being saddened to find that I had lost a friend. John was a happy person, an optimist and always there with a smile. Although his passing was 17 years ago now, he is not forgotten. I miss my friend and feel almost as sad that it seems life pulls us brothers apart making it hard to keep up with each other. If you knew John Todd, you will understand why I feel it is important that the class of 86 really appreciate the friendships and the brotherhood we share. Be thou at Peace my friend. John Lynch |
