Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Robert Burns on February 10, 2004:

David and I went to grade school and high school together. Twenty years after his death, I still miss him. He had a lot to contribute to the world and unfortunately, his opportunity was limited.
Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or basketball court, David was an inspiration. His family was wonderful and I'm certain they miss him a great deal. I am now in my mid-40's. I am a television anchorman and reporter. It grieves me that I will never get the opportunity to interview David concerning his great achievements. He would have been, without a doubt, worthy of interview.
While 20 years tends to dim most memories, it will take a far greater period of time, before I begin to forget David Cesari and his great potential. I salute each year's graduating class and encourage it's members to remember, life must be lived daily. David lived his life with gusto and joy. I will miss him and the man he would have become.
