Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Kevin Xavier on October 9, 2008:

So, I can't even tell you, Greg, how many nights I spend looking at your page thinking to myself that there is no way that you are not with us. I don't think that you would ever understand how much looking at your smile means to me. And its funny because, it was that same smile that used to be the remedy to so many of your Greg Blunders. This was the Greg I knew...

So I go away and decide to leave him my apartment for the week. As his father said, "are you sure you want to do that?" I had two cats.... Just feed them Greg! What he said when he picked me up from the airport was, "I was good all week... but then last night happened!" Six days down, one more day was just too much! I lost two cats that night. But luckily, thanks to Greg's fantastic search and rescue skills, I got both of them back within a day.
It is things like that that I will miss. Things also like a streaming river power operated picture that he loved, a Mazda RX-6 with fading paint and a loud stereo stystem that was his favorite car in high school, the weight lifting that he would lift so much more than me in, and the rain coat that he gave to me because I was moving away.

He was and will always be one of the greatest people I will have ever met in my life. Thank you Greg for every memory that I have with you. I just want you to know that I think about you all the time and miss you so very much.
