Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Lisa Zavota on September 9, 2009:

Hey Baby,
Today is your twenty sixth birthday. We wish we could see that magnificent smile of yours and hold you in our arms. We miss you so much, but we are still thankful for the twenty four wonderful years we were blessed to share with you. Your thoughtful, compassionate ways made you able to touch so many people's lives. Stories continue to find their way back to us that make us so proud of you.

"Spider" and a couple of his friends came to visit. He told us how the two of you used to go into New York City for a night and would take a homeless person out for the evening. You took them for a good meal and a memorable time. You made them feel things would be okay in their lives.

Just today, your RI buddy and fellow classmate, Sean sent us a picture of his son, "Owen Gregory". Yes, he honored his son with your name. He misses you dearly and is grateful you touched his life. He promised he will tell his son all about you when he gets a little older.

Greggie, you are always on our minds. We take your beautiful spirit with us where ever we go. Our lives will never be the same without you here with us. There is a spot in our hearts that only you can fill. We pray you are at peace and thank you for being such a positive influence to so many people.

Love you forever, Dad, Mom and Kerri xxxooo
