Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Shannon, Emily, Joseph, Alvin and Olinda Smith on May 1, 2008:

Timothy. He was a kind friend and fellow brother in Christ. He always had a smile and encouraging word. I specifically remember a certain Christmas Pagent at South Park Baptist in Alvin, Tx. He stood in front of I don't know how many people and narrated the whole thing, did the charleston, a great impression of Elvis , and he was God's messenger Gabriel. How fitting that he should play that role. He was a light to the world for many other people. And even though our family moved away and we lost contact, he was never forgotten, his family either. Sometimes, we sit down and watch that Christmas pagent video because it's funny and sometimes we watch because we want to remember how fun it was to be with all of our friends at church and to participate together in sharing the Lord's love to the world.

Tim will be greatly missed and his family will be in our prayers, but one thing that believers have, is the reassurance that he will be seen again on the other side of Heaven.
