To John and family, I had Tim attached to my platoon when he did CTLT at FT Campbell the summer before his senior year. I was impressed then by his maturity and motivation as were the rest of C Company. It was only fitting that he returned there as a Lieutenant. After I left I continued to receive updates from old friends and I know from their comments that Tim was well respected by his men and his commanders. I know through them that on many occassions your brother faced terrible circumstances and carried his men through. It is a tragedy that he was taken too soon but a blessing that he was there for his soldiers. I am terribly sorry for your loss and pray for you and your family.
