Dearest Dewhirst family; This 2011 parent shares your grief today as if it were her own. My son just completed CFT and regaled us with tales of bravado. I am sure Nick was the same-confident, faithful and true to his brothers in battle. May all your sorrow be lifted to the Lord at this terrible time. Know that we think of you often in the coming weeks and months as we too approach our jump into adulthood with the West Point family. It is a true family just as our blood families can be. We hurt and mourn and laugh and cry together. May you be at peace. Mary |
