Be Thou At Peace

Dear Father God, You watched over and kept Nick safe throughout his deployment and his time serving our Nation. I know that your peace surpasses all our hurts, and I ask that you bring your peace to Nick's family and close friends now. I cannot claim a close relationship with this brother in arms, but I know his name and face and identity as one of our own. Help us remember all that he brought to our lives, so that we will preserve his memory in the Class of 2006. Thank you so much for your protection of his men, and we pray that each one injured in the same attack will recover to full health. May his Soldiers remember his example of leadership and be strengthened by his resolve. In Your Almighty and Merciful Name, Amen |
