We were there. In the early dawn on R day, when we had 90 seconds to say "goodbye". We were there. When our sons took the oath of office. We were there. In the torrential heat of A day, waiting for our "new cadets" to be done with inspection. We were there. In the beautiful sunny but cold, Plebe Parent weekend when the NAVY plebes threw the "Beat Army" sign off Washington Hall during the parade. We were there. To see the bright shiny rings during Ring Weekend. We were there. When our sons received their diplomas and 2LT bars. We were there. When the hats were tossed. We will always be connected.
