Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Mike Munson on April 6, 2007:

Jack was an A-1 guy. Fun loving fellow from the South. But don't let that slow drawl fool ya, he was a pretty clever fellow. I'll never forget the prank he pulled on Doug Rogers. Trying to survive a grey winter, they took turns "getting" each other. After each had successfully flooded the other with the old, tipped metal waste can (full of water) against the door, it seemed redundant to Rogers that a Mullen knock on the door portended yet another sloppy surprise. This time Doug decided he wasn't going to have to clean up. Doug very slowly and carefully worked the door open just enough to catch the bucket before much water had spilled. Feeling pretty good about himself, Doug then carried the heavy container to his room's lavatory and poured it down the sink. Seconds later the water flooded out the cabinet onto Doug's shoes. Surprised, Doug opened the cabinet to find that Jack had removed his U trap. Now that was a classic.

There was no sadder day than the one that Jack and Jimmy Greenlee went wine testing only to drown in a lake in Jimmy's Corvette.
