I only knew Mikey for a short time in Company C4 at West Point. But, I saw him every day for 2 years and we sat at the same table the whole time. I definitely looked up to him and cannot remember a time that he wasn't happy, upbeat, and making jokes to keep everyone around him happy. I definitely learned a lot from him, and had a lot of fun as well. I wanted the news to be another practical joke that he was playing on me. But, its great to know how I will remember him: As a close friend who would have done anything to keep everyone happy and have a great time, while still getting the job done.
