Like so many of my lost brothers and sisters, while I never knew Michael in life, his death touched and saddened me. In late Aug, 2008 we conducted a "Run for the Fallen" to honor those lost from the Long Grey Line in the Global War on Terrorism and I had the honor to run one of my miles wearing the running bib carrying his name and cullum number.
