Dan, you became one of my best friends through IOBC and Ranger School. In some form or fashion we all envied and wanted to be you. You were there for me when I did not think I could take another step. I hope that in some way I was there for you. I am so thankful for the times we had together. I wish we could have stayed in closer contact through our deployment, but I took for granted you would be there when it was all over to share our war stories over a beer - that is something I will always regret. You were a better man than I could ever hope to become. I look forward to the day when I can see you again, to the day Team Try Again reunites. Until then, look over the rest of us and be the guiding light you always were in life. I miss you. Matt |
