Daniel: Your death reminds us of one of the odd paradoxes of our society: Of the youngest we so often ask the most. That you should give your young life in service to our nation is the ultimate testament to your character. Quite simply, you served a higher ideal: Duty, Honor, Country. We will always remember you as one of those many great Americans who though fully knowing the risks, still came from every corner of this great nation of ours and traveled to distant shores to serve the cause of freedom. It is Americans like you who represent all that is good and decent about this country. You will surely be lifted up on angels' wings and remain through the heavens soaring. Vayos con Dios, Thomas P.
