Be Thou At Peace

Words do not describe this man - they are too weak. Dan was strong. Pictures do not describe the genuinous of his smile - they are too small. Letters do not articulate his unselfish and natural leadership style - but his Soldiers and classmates will never forget. Dan is the American and Officer we all work so hard to emulate but for Dan it was so easy... His time was short but his impact is forever. Dan we will Always Remember and Never Surrender... Be thou at peace for a job WELL done. To his family, friends, and fellow Soldiers - I am deeply saddened and sincerely sorry for your loss. His sacrifice will never be forgotten and his spirit will never waiver in my heart. God Bless Lindsey Gerheim USMA '07 |
