Dan, You are the kind of person that inspired others, myself included, to be a better person, try harder, and work to their full potential. You never let anything get you down. And if it did, you did a great job of hiding it from the rest of us and putting on a confident front that everything would be fine. From struggling through late nights at school trying to finish up problem sets to fighting through late nights at ranger to graduate and move on, you were always there with an encouraging word and a smile for the rest of us. The army and the world has suffered a great loss with you not around anymore, but I look forward with anticipation to when we will meet again. Your friend, Mike |
