Dear Hyde Family, Our hearts were broken when we heard about Dan. We have been praying for you ever since. We met Dan at Plebe-Parent Weekend and instantly liked him. As we got to know him through the years, we enjoyed hearing about his many accomplishments. We also enjoyed seeing your family at all the West Point family weekends. There was something special about Dan. His integrity, kindness, and strength of character were obvious the minute you met him. I have a picture of him on my desk from a time we took all the guys to eat. I keep it there so I can show people the face of a true American hero. We will continue to pray for you.
