| Daniel. I just heard from Andy Bauder, and am so deeply saddened to hear the bad news. I knew you were destined for greater things than being a new cadet in my squad (all of you are)... and now you're with God... and there is nothing greater than that. Watch over us as we continue the mission you were on. I will never forget you. Even as a new cadet, you were physically and mentally tough, while most others had a tendency to spaz out (including your own squad leader) - but still, you were not afraid to show that you had an emotional side, too. I am glad that I was able to be someone you could talk to, even if it was only that one time. Be thou at peace, Dan. |
