Dan, It's rare that you meet someone that can make you feel as if no task is insurmountable against the worst of odds, but you were that person. I think my fondest memory of your personality and attitude was on our intramural football team, down a bunch of touchdowns, and you'd run into the huddle with the play and let us know that it was going to be alright, we were going to come back and win, and I believed you! You had a leadership ability and contagious personality that is going to be very hard to match. As I continue to serve this great country, I'll know that no matter what I face each day I can pull through. You have been and you will always be in my thoughts every day I put on the uniform and every day after I take it off for good. May God Bless you, Dan -- you will truly be missed. -Collin |
