As USMA parents of a recent grad, we can imagine but hope not to know this sharp sorrow. We know from the start of Beast, Jason has been dedicated to the service of the country, meaning the rest of the citizens who cannot defend or country. Along the way, he put his men ahead of himself, probably daily. I can't imagine a more meaningfully led life. Service over self. While his friends, family and comrades miss his smile and embrace, we mourn the loss of our citizen-soldier. Thank you Jason, for your dedication and unselfish service to us all. |
