Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Mr.& Mrs. Carlos del Castillo on March 17, 2013:
To the Family of CPT. Cullen: Please know that our hearts are heavy upon hearing this news. We know there is nothing we can say to console you at this time. Please know that so very many people do care about your loss and they grieve in an intense manner. We are humbled by these young Americans who care so much about their country. It is clear this young lady, this young officer, was full of beauty, grace, kindness, intelligence and a loving heart We wish we were with you so that we could give you the deep hug you need. So that you can feel comfort in crying in the arms of families who share your pain and loss. The world is undoubtedly a less bright place with Sara Marie's passing. We sincerely believe you will see her again one day. It is the only thought that keeps us going forward through each day. God has her now and she is basking in his glow. Peace be with you.
Mr. & Mrs. C. del Castillo--Parents of 1ST LT. Dimitri del Castillo, Class of 2009 U.S. Ranger KIA 25 June 2011 Gambir Jungle, Korengal Valley Kunar Province, Afghanistan
