With deep sadness in my heart I want to extend my sorrow over loss. He was a hero and a great American who you and all of America can be proud of. Know that his sacrifice deeply honored by even those who never knew him. He was not only a blessing to you but to the entire nation. My son, Eric, as the class of '07 and is in Afganistan right now. I don't know if they knew each other, but I will let him know of his class' loss. May God's strength sustain you during these most difficult of days. Know that He is sufficient for all of our needs. May you have peace in your memories of Tyler and have pride in the fine man that you raised. May your future day of reunion with Tyler keep you looking forward in faith.
