Tyler, You are being remembered today and thought of everyday. Thank you for serving this great nation. My favorite quote now reminds me of you,"A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself". I hope that Americans today remember that Memorial Day is more than a Federal Holiday. It is more than a paid day off. It is more than the unofficial beginning of summer. It is more than an opportunity to barbecue with friends. Memorial Day commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while serving in the military. So I raise my glass to you Tyler, the words THANK YOU will never be enough but it is all I have and a promise that you will never be forgotten. A grateful American. |
