Dear Mike, Vicki, Michael, and Amanda, As a parent of a son who attends the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, I am deeply saddened by the untimely death of your son Mitchel. What a handsome young man in his West Point uniform. What makes those young men so different from their peers? I think it was a calling. What a loss for you and all of us. It broke my heart to hear the news. It touches all of us parents who have sons and daughters in a military academy. Please know that I haven't forgotten you nor your son's death. Though I didn't know him nor you this has touched my life and now you are part of it. I am so sorry for your loss. I send my prayers from Grand Junction, Colorado. In friendship, Suzy Coleman |
