Sal, I consider myself truly blessed to have met you and served with you in H-4. You were an all-around great guy; one of the nicest people I have ever met. No matter the situation, you always had a smile on your face and were willing to lend a helping hand. I will never forget my classmates and I greeting you with "Kick 'em in the face, Corporal" when we were just Plebes. Now as 2LTs, I hope that we can live up to the example of selfless service and sacrifice that you have set for us. Well done, Sal. Be thou at peace. Pete Thompson USMA '09, H-4 |
