Mr.and Mrs.Corma, As a former South Jersey resident with a Plebe at West Point the courage displayed by Salvatore in deciding to attend USMA at a time of war speaks for itself. He choose to serve his country by becoming an officer in the 82nd Airborne over other far more generationally popular prospects. If you ever go through Gibbstown, take a minute and stop by the large bronze plaque in front of the police station on Broad Street. Your son has been welcomed into the company of some fine men who are noted on that plaque. They know of his service and your pain.
