It was with great sadness that I read of the passing of 1LT Del Castillo. I wish for his family to know that your suffering is our suffering. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of the hardships and tribulations of our soldiers serving in these desolate and inhospitable lands, defending our nation from terrorists that only wish to target our Country, democracy, and freedom. I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep the memory of his service to our Nation and the cause of freedom for as long as I can carry them. His sacrifice is our sacrifice and your pain is our pain.
