Katie: I visited with you when you last came to Puerto Rico with Robert Perez and we had lunch together and your other friend. Mrs Perez passed on to me the sad news of the passing of your husband. I was at Fort Knox and had not been able to connect. Please accept my condolences and be assured that your husband will be in my thoughts and in my prayers as we do not forget what young men and women like him are doing for us. Freedom is not free and it is soldiers like you and your husband, who go in harm's way to defend our principles, who we have to have in our prayers and in our thoughts. Please extend to his family my condolences as well as to your parents and assure them that we think of them and pray that the Lord keep you safe. A tus ordenes in Puerto Rico. MG (R) Felix A.
