Be Thou At Peace

| I want to wish the Runkle family peace. Daily I drive by Mrs. Runkle's home and see the flags, picture, and wreaths. I never knew John, but have 26 and 30 year old sons. I put myself in Mrs. Runkle's place each time I drive by her home. When the flags were placed down route 42 and throughout the town of West Salem, I was brought to tears. When John's motorcade came through route 604 and onto 42, I was brought to tears. I feel great sadness for the family, yet pride in your son. He paid the ultimate price to deliver the freedom we in America are so lucky to have. |
