To The Family of Lt. Steele, Although I was not lucky enough to meet Lt. Steele, it is through the kindness in his eyes and the tributes of those who knew him best, that I know of his honor, courage and goodness. He is the kind of officer who I would hope would be there to lead my own son in the chaos of battle. We are privileged to have Tim's name memorialized on a poster that hangs on our wall as a reminder of the debt of thanks we owe to our fallen heroes and their families. Liberty, your daddy is a kind and brave American hero who will never be forgotten. There are no words that would be adequate, but know that we will be forever grateful and will never forget the debt we owe to Tim, his parents, wife, and beautiful daughter. |
