Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Adam Novo, '12 on August 4, 2012:

I spent my first two years at West Point in Company D-1, Todd's company. Despite how crazy and hectic plebe year was initially in that company, I immediately took a liking to Todd. He had this smile that could light up the darkest room and a sense of humor that could make even the most serious of people break out in laughter.

A lot of people have said some wonderful things about Todd, touching on aspects about him which I mentioned above. While those aspects are major characteristics of who he was, what really made Todd, Todd, was his complete lack of selfishness and natural born leadership qualities. Todd made it a point to interact with plebes and got to know all of us very well. Todd, you really taught me how to break out of my shell and face situations that most people would shy away from. For that, I am forever thankful.

I look forward to seeing you again and I will never forget you nor the lessons you instilled in me.

GO DUKS -- BAD TO THE BONE!

2LT Adam Novo
