Graduated 64th in his class.

Served at Fort Hoyle in 1931, son of Colonel Herbert Gibner, chief medical officer at Scolfield Barracks(1934).

Played quarterback at West Point.

Second Lt, Avation officer, of the seventhy-ninth Pursuit Squadron, Barksdale Field.

Crashed into a plowed field, a mile and half off the reservation, while training at night.

Buried at the Military Academy.
