(Citation Needed) - SYNOPSIS: Major (Field Artillery) Harry Brown Packard (ASN: 0-18091), United States Army, was awarded the Silver Star (Posthumously) for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in connection with military operations against the enemy while serving with the 24th Field Artillery Regiment (Philippine Scouts), in the Philippine Islands in 1942.
