(Citation Needed) - SYNOPSIS: Major (Infantry) Marshall Hill Hurt, Jr. (ASN: 0-18186), United States Army, was awarded the Silver Star (Posthumously) for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in connection with military operations against the enemy with the 31st Infantry Regiment, in the Philippine Islands, during World War II.
