Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Carol E. Boonstra on September 12, 2004:

My uncle, Donald E. Beers, and Christopher Jennings prepared an employees' handbook entitled Stewart Field "WINGS OF WEST POINT."

W.H. Diddlebock was commanding officer at that time. Having recently joined the Civil Air Patrol, I find this manual fascinating.

Would West Point be interested in acquiring this item? I believe it was written during WWII.

I would be very interested in obtaining more information about Major Diddlebock and his command at Stewart Field.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Carol E. Boonstra
