Be Thou At Peace

| As a friend of Todd's, his sudden death came as a shock. Only a few days ago I was talking to him about the marathon team, the APFT, classes, and all the other things that come up in every day conversation. I had known Todd since plebe year boxing, and since that time we had become friends. We ended up in the same company for our yearling year, a prospect that excited both of us. We had only been in our company for a matter of days when the tragedy occurred. Knowing that he was gone forever was a blow that left me reeling, as it was for others. He was an amazing person, and I had the upmost respect for him as an athlete, a classmate, but most of all a friend. He will be missed, and the prayers and thoughts of myself and those who know him are with his family and friends. |
