| Bill filled my H-3 years with the best of West Point. He shone like a warm sun whenever he spoke or just was nearby. I loved his warmth, his gentleness, and his never-say-die attitude. He had a genuine kind word for everyone, and he brought out the best in me and in us all. Bill had the rare combination of good manners, insightful intelligence, and good ol' fashioned common sense. One of the best cadets with whom I had the honor to train and to serve. May the Lord embrace Bill in everlasting peace, and may Bill's family and friends know that Bill's warm spirit lives on his West Point friends. |
