CPT Burns, as I knew her, was a true role model for the cadets she touched at WP, especially me. I remember long talks she and I would have about career decisions, branch choices, and most of all life. She definitely had an abundance of life and energy so strong you could not help being infected. Although saddened, I am very fortunate to know that the two years I spent around her were for a reason and a season. She influenced my life in so many ways. I cannot thank her enough for her spirit. I'll truly miss you CPT Burns. May we encounter one another again someday. |
